We stopped by for an impromptu lunch. We visited at 12:30 and luckily there was a table. Although it was incredibly busy, service was prompt, as was the food. We each ordered the bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta and shared a portion of cheesy chips.
The food was delicious; the bacon was nice and thick with plenty of flavour and the chips were obviously home made and actually tasted like potatoes. We did have to wait for the chips but the issue was resolved quickly.
Highly recommended place, excellent value, delicious food and friendly staff
First time trying Temple Cafe Bar after it’s magnificent reputation throughout the town .
The restaurant interior was excellent , it was very old school with lots of antique pictures , gadgets and memorabilia . Was very interesting to look at whilst waiting for our food .
The food was okay , just a basic bap . Bacon was underdone for my liking , egg was nice and gooey and hash brown crispy .
The service was okay , the staff were slightly distant and were not very attentive however they did have a smile on their face and were polite

Nice little place, discovered on Google. Small place, with a relaxed atmosphere. Decent choice of food, drink options and reasonably priced. Look out for the various artworks and pictures on the walls. Good customer service as well. Would go again if in the area.
